Eligibility Criteria
| Education Qualification | |
 | 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with a PCM aggregate of not less than 60%.
OR
With Physics as individual subject in one of the year, B.Sc. in Physics, Mathmatics, Chemistry orElectronics with an average of not less than 55% of marks in the final year.
OR
B.E./B.Tech. DegreeShould have passed in the English language as a subject, at either 10th or 12th standard or in the Degree/Diploma course, conducted by the Board or any University with not less than 50% marks. |
| Age Limit | |
| Not more than 25 years on date of commencement of the training course. The age limit is relaxable by 2 years in case of girl candidates. Physical Standards. |
| Physical Standards | |
| Medically fit as per the standards set by M. S. Medical Examination Rules, 2000. Eyesight 6/6 in each eye without visual aids and no color blindness. Candidates have to undergo a full eyesight test conducted by the Mercantile Marine Department before being finally selected for the course. |
Admission Procedure / Common Entrance Test
Students are required to pass Common Entrance Test conducted by INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY. Course Fee
The course fee is regulated by Indian Maritime University. Total Fee is Rs.1,92,500/- Following is the break up of the DNS course fee.
